The Eastern Center is running two training courses: Diploma course on sports coaching, and a Certificate course.

The duration of the diploma course is ten and half month and certificate course is six weeks respectively.

The diploma course is start from 1st July and certificate course is start from May respectively.

The center has started diploma course since its inception in the year 1983 along with certificate course since then. At present diploma course is going on four disciplines viz Archery, Athletics, Boxing and Football. In edition the special certificate course and refresher courses for in-service coaches are also being conducted by the center. Periodical seminars and workshops are also being conducted in the field of sports and sports sciences.
